Sanj Krishnan is a British screenwriter. He recently graduated from the Screenwriting MFA program at UCLA's School of Theater, Film and Television, where he was a BAFTA Scholar.

His brand of writing is inclusive magic—a term he coined in a speech to his fellow graduating students at UCLA. It means taking the fun of genre movies and old-time Hollywood and marrying it with previously unheard stories about people that big cinema has sometimes left behind.

Inside Sanj's brain is a tug of war between a wide-eyed nerdy kid and a self-righteous lawyerly adult: this manifests in fantasy, adventure and dark comedy stories exploring colonialism, despotism and other assorted isms — themes influenced by his time as a human rights barrister.
